Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

    30 minutes

We like to have lots of barbecues and I love to barbecue asparagus. These bacon wrapped versions are great!

Yummy! I did cook this in the oven at 400° for 25 minutes. I finished it under the broiler for 3 minutes to get a nice crisp on the bacon. This was a hit!  -  17 Jun 2008  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

Absolutely the greatest! A big hit at my house. Only change I made was to wrap a slice of bacon around 2 pieces of asparagus instead of one.  -  30 Oct 2008  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

This is a great way to make asparagus. I cut off the fatty side of the bacon, using only the meatier side to wrap my asparagus. I brushed the ends and tips with extra virgin olive oil mixed with ground black pepper and roated them in the oven at 450 for 15-20 minutes as another reviewer suggested and they were perfect! I lined my baking pan with wax paper to prevent the bacon from sticking to the bottom and they came out beautifully. Thanks for the great recipe.  -  04 Apr 2008  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
