Creamy Mushroom Sauce for Fettucine

When you put the cream in stir it through then turn off the burner otherwise the cream with curdle.

Serves: 5 

  • extra virgin olive oil for frying
  • 1 onion
  • 250g bacon
  • two packets of mushrooms
  • 1 egg
  • 300ml thickened cream
  • (the amount you want) fresh parsley
  • (amount you want) fresh chives
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Cut up all the vegetables.
  2. Fry the bacon and onion with olive oil and cook until onion is soft.
  3. Add mushroom then cook for a few minutes, put in the egg and then mix all together.
  4. Add the cream, parsley and chives.Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Stir in and turn off the burner. DO NOT overcook because the cream will curdle. Serve with fettuccine.
