Easy, Delicious Herb Bread

    I always make this when I have a party or friends over for dinner and it never lasts long =D Great served with pasta or soup, or even just as a snack =]

    Serves: 4 

    • French stick bread
    • Rosemary
    • Olive oil
    • Salt
    • Freshly ground pepper

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:10min 

    1. Slice the bread about 1.5cm thick, on an angle.
    2. Brush sliced bread on both sides with olive oil.
    3. Sprinkle a generous amount of rosemary, a pinch of salt and a little pepper on one side of each piece.
    4. Grill bread until golden brown. Serve immediately -- it will lose its crunch as time passes!
    5. For extra flavour, you can also add garlic to the olive oil.
    6. I must add that my Mister devised the original, using flat bread instead of French stick. Either way works beautifully, but I recommend using flat bread if you want it really crisp and crunchy, and using French stick if you want it crusty ^_^
