Quick and easy chickpea patties, a good alternative to meat.
800g of chickpeas, drained and rinsed (two cans)
1 Tbsp tahini
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 cup of parsley
1 tsp cumin
salt and pepper
squeeze of lemon juice
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until smooth.
- Shape into patties (for use in burgers) or tablespoon-sized balls (for finger food or to eat with salad/vegies) and shallow fry in hot oil until brown on each side.
- Drain on paper towel and serve.
