Savoury Sausages

    Quick & Easy Something different with snags This recipe is a family favourite and its a way i get the kids to eat veges. I generally have all veges washed, diced and cooked prior to stuffing the sausage. You can also add any vegies to your taste in this recipe like celery, spring onions, carrot & mushroom.

    Serves: 6 

    • ½ kilo thick tasty beef sausages (10-12)
    • 1 T.S olive oil
    • 1 brown onion, diced
    • 1 green capsicum, diced
    • 2 tomatoes diced
    • salt & pepper to taste
    • 250gm tasty cheese, sliced

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. In a large frypan add a little olive oil and add diced veges with a little salt & pepper to taste until soft remove from heat and sit.
    2. Boil sausages until cooked, remove from heat and sit to cool.
    3. Cut a slit in middle of sausage like a pocket and fill with vegie filling.
    4. Put the sausages on grilling tray and place a slice of tasty cheese on each sausage. Grill till the cheese has melted. Enjoy
