    Be careful while cooking this wonderful Indian sweet. Make small balls with the dough and press between hands and drop in the milk to boil then see if it is cooked in the middle so u can get great taste.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 3 

    • 750ml milk
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 1 cup milk powder
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 1 egg white
    • 1 tsp rosewater
    • a pinch cardamom (Elakka) powder
    • a drop yellow colour
    • 1 Tbsp Badam(chopped)
    • Pistachios for garnish (chopped)
    • a pinch saffron

    Directions
    Preparation:40min  ›  Cook:1hour  ›  Extra time:22hours20min  ›  Ready in:1day 

    1. Boil the milk and keep on a low flame and add the sugar.
    2. Mix baking powder and milk powder in a bowl.
    3. Add the egg white (only don't use the yolk) and knead the mixture to make a smooth dough.
    4. Immediately, make small cherry-sized balls of this dough. Drop the balls into the milk.
    5. Cook till the balls become double the original size.
    6. See if the texture is soft in the middle. If not, cook it again in the milk.
    7. Add rose water, cardamom powder and yellow colour to the milk and cook till the milk becomes thick.
    8. Garnish with pistachios, badam and saffron
    9. :- Serve cold.
