Living in share-houses gave me a background of what other people have grown up with food wise. Also it exposed me to vegeterians and vegans, and how to deal with their food intricacies. I then worked in a cafe, graduating from a kitchen hand through to running the night time service and handling the sweets myself. I got out after 3 years. Although I'm no longer a bachelor really, I will try and tailor my recipies to that kind of lifestyle, quick, easy inexperienced.
Favourite things to cook
I like to use some pre-prepared foods and spruce them up beyond recognition, so as to create the appearance of all home made, when in reality, its a big lie.
Family cooking traditions
Inexpensive, easy home cooking.
I'm always proud of making the traditional no-go areas of home cooking successful. Choosing the right ready made ingredients from your supermarket and creating something genuinely tasty. I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but hey...I'm a moron myself!
Can always be saved.
