There are so many great salads to choose from out there but some are just more popular than others.
Hard boiled eggs, crispy fried rashers of bacon and diced onion served over a bed of fresh spinach. Served with a homemade lemon garlic dressing.
For a change from the usual tabbouleh, try substituting quinoa for the bulgur. This recipe also includes tomatoes, cucumber, spring onions and mint.
A warm pasta salad with spinach, feta and and black olives. Wilt the spinach by pouring the pasta water over it. I usually serve this warm but it makes a good cold salad as well.
The classic colours of the caprese salad, but with avocado replacing the basil leaves. Wonderful served with ciabatta bread and good olive oil on the side.
This coleslaw has almost every colour of the rainbow in it with fresh ingredients like red cabbage, carrots, capsicum and coriander.
