Bacon and pancetta (Italian bacon) make great pasta dishes. Try a recipe for carbonara, creamy bacon pasta, or bacon pasta with mushrooms.
A small amount of well-trimmed bacon goes a long way in imparting a full flavour to this quick pasta sauce. We've boosted the fibre with cannellini beans and the vegetable content with vibrant silverbeet, which cooks conveniently in the pasta water.

My friend Kathy gave me this recipe, and it's great. So filling, great in a thermos for lunch or school in winter.

Bacon is always the winner in my pasta sauce recipes. In this recipe I throw in chopped zucchini and a handful of spinach as well to help absorb some of the saltiness. We also alternate between serving this sauce on top of pasta and on top of steamed vegies.

This dish is totally delicious. It is easy to make (my husband makes it all the time) and I have yet to make it for someone who doesn't ask for the recipe.

This is an easy and quick dinner. Creamy pasta with bacon and chives. To make it less fattening you can use low fat cream and ham.

Another haphazard attempt that worked out really well!! Again, I prefer to use a large, deep-sided frypan on the stove, but do try an electric frypan if you like, and let me know if it works!!

This pasta sauce works well with any kind of pasta i.e. bow pasta, penne pasta, etc. It is fabulous with Latina Fresh Ricotta and Spinach Agnolotti. You can use chicken instead of bacon. It all works well! This recipe is easy and you can't go wrong!
