My husbands favourite. Tender beef in a red wine sauce. Serves 6. I find this great in winter on the week end at the end of a busy Saturday, it just cooks slowly and dinner is ready. Serve with fresh veg. You can add carrots, potatoes etc to the pot to cook and serve with the meat.

This is tender fall-off-the-bone roast beef with mushrooms. It's perfect as is. Use the leftovers to make a hearty sandwich.

This is so easy to make, and tastes wonderful. Be careful not to over cook the chicken. This is also just as tasty cold the next day in sandwiches.

This is an easy way to make a tender rump roast. It creates a wonderfully flavourful juice while it cooks which can be served over the meat or made into gravy.

Just tried this today and thought I'd share. I served it with plain rice, but I'm sure it'd be nice with new potatoes and fresh vegetables as well! I have a large family with lots of little children who only eat small portions (this fed 2 adults, 5 children and 1 baby).
