My husbands favourite, tender beef in a red wine sauce. I find this great in winter on the weekend at the end of a busy day, it just cooks slowly and dinner is ready. You can also add carrots, potatoes etc to the slow cooker when adding the roast beef.

This is so easy to make, and tastes wonderful. Be careful not to over cook the chicken. This is also just as tasty cold the next day in sandwiches.

Just tried this today and thought I'd share. I served it with plain rice, but I'm sure it'd be nice with new potatoes and fresh vegetables as well! I have a large family with lots of little children who only eat small portions (this fed 2 adults, 5 children and 1 baby).
