This is not so much a recipe, but a take on a favourite breakfast. I discovered it one morning when I had no butter left for my eggs on toast.

I make this nearly everymorning, it's that good. Another idea is to grill in the oven, instead of having it fan-forced. The fritz goes crunchy, the cheese melts and it's delicious with sauce! Coon cheese works best. If you aren't able to continue monitoring the bread while it's in the oven, yoghurt would be a better idea because the cheese will burn if left unattended.

I love these. I first ate them in America and then searched for a recipe. Its simple-just pancake batter baked. You can mix in apples too before you bake them and add any extras to serve as you might with pancakes. If you don't have a cast iron frypan you can cook them in a baking dish or pyrex dish.

Pudding for breakfast sounds like a child's dream come true, but it can also be a healthy way to start the day. An exemplary breakfast, this bread pudding brings together fibre from the wholegrain bread and berries, vitamin C from the fruit and protein from the egg whites.

A simple way to make a special breakfast. You can put it together the night before and bake it while you're in the shower. It's like a breakfast bread pudding and you can also add extra raisins or sultanas if you wish.
