This is a basic truffle filling to which you can add your own flavourings. You may use this to fill the chocolate shells you make using moulds or roll into balls then into powdered sugar, cocoa, sprinkles or other toppings.

Shortbread crust, a caramel layer and a dark chocolate topping-the classic Caramel Slice. Make sure you cut this into slices before the chocolate fully sets or the chocolate will crack while you're cutting.

Can be made with or without the peanut butter, I always get rave reviews from this rather easy-to-make fudge, using ingredients you most likely have on hand. This recipe does requires a candy thermometer.

Kids will love these and they are whimsical and fun. Cute chocolate mice rolled in icing sugar or chocolate cookie crumbs are very realistic.

This delicious dense mixture can be cut up into bars. They are dense and full of flavour, perfect for hiking or camping. Vary the recipe according to what's in the cupboard! Any type of dried fruit or nuts may be substituted for the ones in the recipe.

Insanely easy and oh so rich! Recipe makes a large amount but you can vary flavorings and coatings to make several different varieties. Decorate with finely chopped nuts or roll in chocolate sprinkles.

These are pretty unhealthy, but they're very rich and delicious...So, indulge in one (or two) and don't feel too bad about it;) If you plan on eating these with savoury food, neglect the sugar - it's just too much.

Colourful preserved fruits make very appealing presents, especially when packed in attractive airtight jars with decorative labels. Prepare these recipes at least two months before you plan to give them as gifts.

This is one my mum used to make when we were kids and now my kids are doing their own. This is a nice basic construction but you make your house more elaborate as you get more familiar with the process. Use your imagination and a variety of lollies to make doors, windows, pathways and a garden. Make time over two days to make this as the gingerbread needs to sit overnight after cooking.

I've been on a bit of a lollie run lately and found this one from way back. Your own version of crunchie-just without the chocolate. This is easy to make and fun when you add the bicarb!
