Black tea gives this fruit punch a very exotic flavour despite the ingredients being commonly available. A great party drink for a summer garden party or barbecue.

You may prefer to finely grate the lime rind into the blender and cut off any remaining pith before blending the whole limes. It is best served immediately.

This iced tea is a standard base recipe that is not too sweet and very refreshing on a hot summer day! Asian loose leaf tea leaves give the best result. You can use any concentrated fruit flavouring (bottled or fresh-made), but I prefer lime juice with green tea and lemon juice with black tea.

My sister's friend gave her this recipe years ago to use at our parents' 25th wedding anniversary party. This is very refreshing, non -alcoholic and so easy to put together. I recommend making an ice ring out of extra pineapple juice.

This fizzy and refreshing childhood treat is made by fermenting sugar syrup with a yeast mixture called the ‘ginger beer mother’ or ‘ginger beer plant’. You could make it for the kids but you'll also have trouble keeping the adults away from it.

This is a no-alcohol punch but you can add champagne for a kick! We have done this for various functions over summer and it always goes down well even with the kids. This gets made up and put in the esky and served through the day. It's best if you can chill all the ingredients beforehand.
