Anyone who truly loves you will love you with garlic breath, too! Chicken is pan seared and then finishes cooking on a bed of garlic cloves. Toss with tagliatelle and herbed tomatoes and onions. Use any cut of chicken you like with this recipe - two pieces per person.

This is a tasty and quick side dish. The cooking time is just a guideline, feel free to cook this until the green beans are to your liking.

This is a recipe I adapted from my grandmother's. This warm and comforting soup is easy to make and perfect for a Sunday evening with crusty ciabatta.

Capsicums are rich in cancer-fighting anti-oxidants and a good amount of parsley adds more beta carotene and vitamin C to the mix.

A crunchy salad of fruit, vegetables and nuts in a creamy yogurt-based dressing, this is attractively presented on witlof leaves. The bitterness of the witlof provides a good contrast to the sweet fruit.

Pikelets make a delicious, easy breakfast. The thick batter is made by simply stirring together a few basic pantry ingredients, then it needs only minutes to cook. Here they are flavoured with chopped apple and toasted hazelnuts. Top with a little maple syrup and enjoy warm.

I started making this dish a few years ago after apple picking with my children. I was looking for something different to do with some of the apples and this turned out to be delicious! We all enjoy it and hope your family does too.

This is an apple spread recipe that was passed down to me. It's actually more of a jam but it is always delicious spread on toast, muffins or crumpets. If you don't want it to be tangy, you can replace the cider vinegar with water.

This is a great dish for using up autumn apples. Granny Smith or Golden Delicious apples work well.

A lovely recipe that my mother-in-law gave me. We have enjoyed it as an alternative to traditional cranberry sauce.

Soy sauce and apricot jam make up the tasty glaze on these chicken breasts. You can also try orange marmalade for a citrus variation. This dish is a perfect weeknight dinner served with rice.

Everybody loves this, and I'm always asked for the recipe whenever I make it. Serve with pide, chips or biscuits. For a version that is lower in fat and calories, try using light cream cheese.

Actually the bud from a thistle-like plant, globe artichokes are high in fibre, folate and potassium, and supply a surprising amount of vitamin C as well. Fresh herbs and sun-dried tomatoes add a delicious twist to these sauteed treats.
