Anyone who truly loves you will love you with garlic breath, too! Chicken is pan seared and then finishes cooking on a bed of garlic cloves. Toss with tagliatelle and herbed tomatoes and onions. Use any cut of chicken you like with this recipe - two pieces per person.

A wonderful Italian recipe for an uncooked sauce made with fresh tomatoes. You don't have to cook a thing except for the pasta!

This is a beautiful dish that's always a hit! This is a layered antipasto plate, so you can cut it in square slices neatly and find all the ingredients in every bite. Add veggies to your liking. Serve with fresh ciabatta or crusty bread. Enjoy!

A quick and easy penne pasta salad with broccoli, red capsicum and marinated artichoke hearts. Sometimes I use feta cheese instead of Parmesan.

Enjoy these classic Italian toasts with drinks before dinner or as a starter. Using marinated artichokes means you can enjoy them all year round.

This garlic bread was a grade 8 recipe from school but I still make it. It is really good with spaghetti or any type of pasta dish.

Cheddar and Swiss-style cheeses – as well as the Italian grating cheeses – are potent flavourings, even in modest amounts, so are especially good for cooking. They offer quality protein and – along with the melting cheeses like mozzarella – are rich in calcium.

This is one of my favourites. A quick and easy way to use asparagus when it's plentiful and in season. The most important thing is to cook the frittata slowly.

Why are the simplest dishes often the best? Here, a few fine ingredients lift this sandwich from the "something on toast" category to a special treat. It makes a delightful, balanced light lunch when fresh asparagus is in season.

This is a light summery pasta salad that I love because the flavours go so well together. Lemon juice and a drizzle of good olive oil finish everything off nicely. It does taste best when chilled for 1 or 2 hours.
