    This recipe was cooked in a slow cooker for about 6 hours. Pasta was added last half hour.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 500g minced steak
    • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 1/2 red capsicum, diced
    • 1 stick celery, chopped
    • 1 large carrot, diced
    • 500g jar chunky vegetable pasta sauce
    • 425g tin diced tomatoes
    • 1 tablespoon beef stock powder
    • 2 cups water
    • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs or 1 tablespoon Tuscan seasoning
    • black pepper to taste
    • 1 1/2 cups spiral pasta
    • Parmesan cheese

    Directions
    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:6hours  ›  Ready in:6hours15min 

    1. Place all ingredients, except pasta and parmesan, in slow cooker, stirring to break up mince.
    2. Cook for about 5 1/2 hours on auto.
    3. Stir in pasta in cooker in last half hour and serve with Parmesan cheese.

    It's a great recipe... the only thing I did differently is I cooked the mince first. I always do when putting mince into a slow cooker. - 13 Sep 2012
