    This is a recipe my aunt handed down to me. Mince, beans, tomatoes and taco seasoning in a soup served with corn chips. Its so simple and so filling. Takes minutes to prepare. It is the perfect dish for a bunch of men watching football.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 450g mince
    • 1 brown onion
    • 3 cups of water
    • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
    • 1 can (400g) stewed tomatoes
    • 1 can of corn (420g) drained
    • 2 cans of red kidney beans (each 400g) not drained
    • 2 or 3 packets of taco seasoning depending on strength you like
    • corn chips to serve
    • grated cheese to serve
    • sour cream to serve

    Directions
    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. In a large pot brown beef and onions.
    2. Once mince is cooked add the water, tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, corn, kidney beans, taco seasoning. Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 min.
    3. Once soup is ready spoon into a bowl and top with corn chips, cheese and a tab of sour cream.
