You know whats it's like....munchies..raided the cupboard for a sweet fix which is a very rare occasion - I'm a savoury person... no doubt once you make this you will never go back. Its the best tummy filler before you go to bed. you will wake up wanting it for breakfast.....hehe enjoy
This method serves 2 people using 2 pineapple rings each from can.
Grab a nonstick pan wide enough to fit all 4 rings and melt the butter and sugar till starts to bubble on low - med heat.
When the bubbles are foaming place the rings in pan and keep moving pan in a circular motion to get the syrup from the rings into the buttermix. Do this for 1 minute then turn the rings and do for 30 seconds.
Pineapple will soften quickly but u still want to keep a bit of fresh crunch to one side of the pineapple ring.
Take Pineapple off heat & place 2 rings on top of each other on a small dessert plate.
Break up the biscuits and stuff the middle of the rings gently pushing down with a teaspoon of syrup to soften the crumble mixture.
Crush the walnuts and scatter around the plate, drizzle remaining syrup over the rings
Wa La.......very nice wth vanilla ice cream or whipped cream..
