    A yummy curry to share with friends and family or with a loved one in front of the fire. Light some candles, set the table and enjoy.

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 kg beef cut into cubes
    • 1 tsp plain flour
    • 1 tsp oil
    • 2 onions
    • 2 potatoes
    • 2 carrots
    • 2 Cloves Diced garlic
    • 1 tsp minced ginger
    • 2 - 3 cups beef stock
    • 1 tsp mustard powder
    • 1-2 Tbsp curry powder
    • 1 carton (200ml) cream
    • 3 cups rice

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:45min 

    1. Cook the rice by your usual method. Put a pan on medium heat , add oil
    2. Rub the flour on the beef then add to pan.
    3. Cook for 2 mins or until beef is brown then add onion,potatoes and carrot.
    4. Cook for a further 2 mins then add garlic, ginger, beef stock, mustard powder curry powder & stir. Add cream and stir.
    5. Leave to simmer for 20 mins stirring every now and then, or until potatoes and carrots are soft.
    6. Serve with rice

    Lovely tasting curry and very simple to make but the first time I did it the beef was hard and chewie so have been using the slow cooker and leaving it for a few hours  -  06 Oct 2015  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
