This version is the moist melt in your mouth kind ( = enjoy them while they last because you'll be fighting off the crowds with this family favourite! Store biscuits in an airtight container for up to 1 week. You can freeze them for up to 3 months.

Added some cinnamon and only had 1 Tb of golden syrup, so added that with 1 Tb honey and soooo nice. Next time will double the batch as all cookies were gone within minutes! - 25 Apr 2010

Altered ingredient amounts.
added some cinnamon.
Also, I cut butter to 75 g normal butter, and 50 g weight watchers butter.
Changed 2 TB golden syrup to 1 TBspn golden syrup + 1 TBspn honey - 25 Apr 2010
