Jumbuck Stew

    2 hours

This stew would be perfect for this winter. I grew up with this stew as my father always used to make it for me and my brothers and sisters, and it is sooo yummy. It's one of those stews that after you've finished eating it all, you can mop up the rest of the sauce with some bread, yum yum yum !!! I also add some potatoes and a few cups of mixed vegies to make this stew even yummier ...

My mother used to make this for the family. Comfort food for me  -  29 Feb 2012

Was quite nice. Next time I will try maggi seasoning instead of worcestershire sauce.  -  05 Jul 2009

Something else. Recipe was very nice done in the slow cooker. I added a chopped onion, one large chopped carrot and 1 chopped stick of celery. I also added some gravy at the end instead of the cornflour. I think that it would also be nice if some or all of the worcestershire sauce was replaced with maggi seasoning. A sl  -  05 Jul 2009
