Prepare the custard first, either packet mix or home made like in this recipe.

Serves: 12 

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 125g butter
  • 1 tin peaches & juice
  • 1/2 cup milk

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:40min  ›  Extra time:10min  ›  Ready in:1hour 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Sift flour, baking powder. Whisk eggs, melt butter and drain peaches into separate bowl.
  2. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry. Grease a baking dish and add 1/2 mixed ingredients to the bottom of dish, gently layer 1/2 custard mix on top, then add a layer of peaches. Layer final wet mix on top.
  3. Place in oven for approx 40 minutes.
