My daughter has been a semi vego since she was 6yr old. (She eats fish). This has always a favourite of hers. It is quick and nice and creamy. We all really like it too.

Serves: 6 

  • 1 packet lasagne sheets
  • 2 cups cooked and squeezed dry silverbeet
  • 1 chopped onion, cooked and add to the silverbeet
  • 500g Ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup of either yoghurt or white sauce
  • 2X220g cans of salmon
  • 1 cup creamy bottled pasta sauce.
  • 3 cups (750ml) of white sauce. ( Instant- but not too runny.)
  • 1 cup (125g)grated tasty cheese.
  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped Basil or 1/2 tsp dried

Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. Mix together the silverbeet, the onion, the ricotta and the yoghurt or white sauce. In a separate bowl mix together the salmon and the bottled pasta sauce.
  2. Spoon a couple of Tbsp of white sauce over the bottom of a medium casserole.
  3. Lay over a sheet of instant lasagne to cover the bottom. Cover with the silverbeet mixture.
  4. Cover with lasagne sheet, then 1/2 the white sauce. Lay over another lasagne sheet, then cover with the fish mixture.
  5. Lay over another lasagne sheet and then the remaining white sauce. Sprinkle with cheese and chopped basil.
  6. Micro wave on Medium for 15 - 20 min.
