    Lemon Fish with Pepper

    Quick fish fillets fried in oil, lemon juice and black pepper. You can use any white fish fillets - like bream or whiting. Serve with rice or potatoes and a green salad.

    Serves: 4 

    • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 750g fish fillets
    • 1 lemon, juiced
    • ground black pepper to taste

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. In a large frypan, heat oil over medium high heat until hot. Add fillets and pour 1/2 of the lemon juice over the top. Sprinkle with pepper to taste. Cook for 4 minutes and turn. Squeeze with the remaining juice and sprinkle with pepper to taste. Continue to cook until fillets flake easily with a fork.

    Easy. Quick and feels healthy:-) I added some salt but otherwise didn't change this recipe. i could imagine chucking some herbs in, though-but fine as is - 27 Feb 2009
