Creamy Chicken Bake

    This is another family favourite even the fussy eaters will finish their plate off. And it is also nice served on rice.

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 1/2 cups chopped chicken
    • 1 (440g) tin corn
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 3 bacon rashers, diced
    • 2 tablespoons plain flour
    • 2 cups milk
    • 45g powdered chicken noodle soup
    • rice

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Cook chicken till brown and place the cooked chicken and drained corn into a lightly greased baking dish.
    2. Melt butter in saucepan and cook bacon for a few minutes then mix in the flour for 1 minute. Gradually stir in the milk and soup until boiling and thickened.
    3. Stir this into the chicken and corn in the baking dish and cook in pre-heated oven for about 15 minutes or until cooked through. Serve on a bed of rice.
