This is a family favourite that is so easy to make. My mum made it all the time and now I make it for my family...and they love it. It is so easy and great for people who are busy but also is tasty for lunch or a bbq with lots of people as an extra dish.

Serves: 4 

  • Chicken legs (skin off), breast or thigh.
  • plain flour for coating chicken.
  • 1 large can of heinze 'big red' tomato soup.
  • 2 large carrots peeled and cut thick.
  • 1 Large brown onion, also chopped thick and in rings.
  • 10 large field mushrooms, sliced thick.
  • oil for cooking.
  • Rice for serving with,
  • Peas or beans for serving with.

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:50min  ›  Ready in:1hour 

  1. Put flour in a plastic bag with the chicken to coat. brown chicken in the fry pan.
  2. In a large caserole dish place all the ingredience. Place lid on dish and bake for abot 45mins on about 250.
  3. ~Serve with rice and peas or beans.
