In a large bowl, combine the milk, cream, sugar, salt, vanilla, strawberries, and food coloring. Pour the mixture into the freezer bowl of an ice cream maker, and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
@Harra297 the recipe says a quarter teaspoon not 14 teaspoons. I do hope you've worked that out coz you'd have been having some pretty salty ice-cream!

Perfect Recipe without the straw berries!
I found that the strawberries were not so nice with it and they dident work so well.
BUT! Without the strawberries there was too much salt so i had to do 10tea spoons not 14. :D - 30 Aug 2013
