Honey Baked Sausages

    Serves: 4 

    • 500g sausages
    • 2 tbsp honey
    • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
    • ½ tsp dry mustard

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:35min 

    1. Preheat oven to 210 degrees C. Pierce sausages, place in a shallow baking dish.
    2. Mix together remaining ingredients, brush over sausages.
    3. Bake in preheated oven turning once, for about 25 mins.

    Something else. Cut sausages lengthways to let more of the flavour be absorbed into them  -  05 Feb 2010


    I was wondering what to do with plain sausages and saw this recipe. I served with scalloped potatoes and heaps of steamed vegetables. The kids love it which is the biggest benchmark for success here! Thanks for sharing. An excellent idea to spruce up cheap and cheerful sausages.  -  01 Apr 2013


    Well received by the 2 year old whose 2 favourite things are sausages and honey. Went down well with everyone else too, even though I miss read the recipe and added half a tablespoon on Worcestershire sauce which may have made it easier to mix and spread anyway.  -  27 Nov 2012
