We've been making these cookies in my family ever since I was little kid. They're everything a cookie should be, and always get eaten immediately. Try not to bake for longer than 15 minutes, the cookies may appear underdone and squishy when you get them out of the oven, but they will harden up as the cool.

Have just cooked a batch of these biscuits. They seem ok and taste nice, but very very greasy. I wonder if there is a bit too much butter in the recipe?  -  20 Dec 2015

Something else. I put it in for 10 minutes in a fan assisted oven sp they were even softer the way my partner likes them.  -  14 Oct 2010  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
