Tomato Soup in a Slow Cooker

18 people made this

This recipe has a rich tomato flavour just as old fashioned tomato soup should have. It takes very little prep work and you can leave your slow cooker on and let it cook your soup for you! It is best made with real chicken stock.

Love, love, love this recipe. Thank you so much for sharing it. My man is not big on soups & it's the first time he asked me when I'm gonna make this soup again. - 20 Mar 2015

Altered ingredient amounts. I used various organic and yellow tomatoes / 800ml of tin tomatoes, drained / 156ml tomato paste / 880ml of liquid chicken broth / Fiery Chili pepper sauce (as didn't have the sweet chili sauce) /// quite spicy, but not overly. Good glowing soup. - 18 Sep 2010
