Kay's Traditional Pink Ambrosia

    Forever argued over as to whether it is actually a dessert or a salad, this recipe has been handed down through the women in my family. An absolute must have on the xmas table. I eat it with the fresh ham, but is just as good after as dessert! Don't let the description put you off, the taste if unbelievable!

    Serves: 5 

    • 1 can mandarin segments, drained
    • 1 can pineapple pieces, drained.
    • 1 cup dessicated coconut
    • 1 bag pink marshmallows, halvd.
    • 1 tub of sour cream

    Preparation:10min  ›  Ready in:10min 

    1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Stir through and refrigerate for a few hours prior to eating.

    Delicious with sliced fresh mandarin too. I use drained crushed pineapple (tinned)  -  29 May 2012
