A delicious healthy dressing for salads - makes a good quantity so be sure to refrigerate. Shake well each time you go to use it.
Ingredients
1 entire head of garlic, peeled about 18 - 20 cloves
1 stem oregano leaves or ½ cup parsley, chopped (optional)
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon mustard seed
⅛ teaspoon chilli
1 teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon black pepper, fresh ground
1 cup (250ml) white wine vinegar OR apple cider vinegar
1 cup (250ml) grape seed oil
1 cup (250ml) organic extra virgin olive oil
Preparation method
1.
Combine all ingredients, except the oil, in blender and mix until garlic is totally crushed.
2.
While blending, drizzle in the oil in VERY SLOWLY - to prevent separation,
3.
The mixture should go thick. Once all the oil is in bottle, seal and refrigerate the dressing. Shake well to use, and drizzle over salads. Enjoy!
