Liqueur Ice Cream

An incredibly easy way to round off a dinner party. I like to serve two small scoops in tiny dishes with shortbread, biscotti or amaretti. You can vary this by trying a different liqueur or add a few drops of real vanilla essence.

Ingredients
Serves: 12 

  • 1 tin (395g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 600ml thickened cream
  • 240ml Grand Marnier or other liqueur

Directions
Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:2hours  ›  Extra time:50min  ›  Ready in:3hours 

  1. Make sure all the ingredients are cold before you start. Whip the cream to soft peaks, gently fold in the condensed milk and liqueur, then freeze.
  2. You can add more alcohol if you like, but remember that it will prevent the ice cream from freezing, so always serve this straight from the freezer!
