Tangy BBQ bourbon marinade

    This is a tasty marinade for beef or any style of ribs or any red meat really!

    Serves: 2 

    • 300 ml of favourite BBQ sauce.
    • 3 shots of bourbon. ( I use Jim Beam )
    • Dash of worcestershire sauce, or more to taste
    • 2 to 3 cloves garlic finely chopped, to taste
    • 1 to 2 tablespoons of ginger finely chopped, to taste
    • Salt and pepper

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:4min  ›  Extra time:6min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Mix all ingredients together and simply marinade chosen meat for at least 3 hours in the fridge. Marinading for 24 hours gives best results .

    This was pretty good, I used a third of the ingredients to marinate beef jerky overnight and it worked well. Used ginger ground and forgot salt and pepper but it still worked very nicely.  -  19 Sep 2011
