    A cute little canape to maximise the flavours of the famous Italian combination. Great fingerfood recipe for parties.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 10 

    • 10 baby bocconcini balls
    • 10 cherry tomatoes
    • 10 small basil leaves
    • 10 toothpicks
    • 10 shot glasses (optional, to serve)

    Directions
    Preparation:10min  ›  Ready in:10min 

    1. Skewer each toothpick with a bocconcini ball, tomato and basil leaf. Place in a shot glass or lay out on a platter to serve.

    I got some tomatoes and basil from my neighbours before they went on holidays so I didnt use the cherry tomatoes or the baby bocconcini just big tomatoes and fresh mozzarella cut in slices. The only toothpicks in the house...the Aussie flag ones left over from Australia Day:-) so i had to take a photo! - 04 Oct 2008
