    Easy stir fry prawns and vegetables

    Prawns stir fried with carrots, snow peas and broccoli. An easy, healthy dinner. Chop up the broccoli small or steam it a little before you stir fry it so it will have the same crunch as the other veggies.

    Serves: 2 

    • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
    • 20 green prawns, peeled and de-veined
    • 4 cloves of crushed garlic
    • 1 teaspoon chilli sauce
    • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
    • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
    • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 1 cup of broccoli, cut up
    • 1 cup of snow peas cut in thin strips
    • 1/4 cup carrot cut into match sticks
    • jasmine rice to serve

    Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Mix together the fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and honey in a bowl and set aside. Heat the peanut oil in a wok or large frying pan.
    2. Stir fry the prawns, garlic and chilli sauce for 2 minutes on high heat.
    3. Add the carrots, snow peas, broccoli and combined sauces.
    4. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes more and then serve over jasmine rice.

    Enjoyed it very much. I stirred through some Singapore noodles instead of using rice  -  13 Jan 2016


    A yummy and slightly sweet stirfry that took no time at all to throw together. My only complaint, I wished I had realized it was for '2' or I had made extra so we could have had leftovers!  -  13 May 2013
