This is a traditional dish in Korea, originally given to new mothers as they believed it would assit with milk production. However it is a tasty dish to be enjoyed by anyone!
Soak seaweed in water until it becomes soft, then drain and cut into 2.5cm pieces.
In a medium saucepan heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add beef, pinch of salt and 1 tsp soy sauce. Fry for one minute. Add seaweed, remaining soy sauce then stir fry gently again for another minute.
Pour in enough water to cover ingredients; bring to a boil. When it is boiling, add garlic and rest of water. Simmer for 30 minutes, then serve.
