    This is an old family favourite. Everyone loves this very tasty meat loaf. I serve it up with tomato and onion gravy, steamed beans, carrots and mashed potatoes. It has a good consistency and when cold slices well for sandwiches.

    Serves: 6 

    • 500g lean minced beef
    • 500g sausage mince
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tablespoon mixed herbs
    • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
    • 1 onion, finely diced
    • 1 large zucchini, grated
    • 1/2 cup frozen peas
    • 1 carrot, grated

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:45min  ›  Ready in:1hour 

    1. Combine all ingredients well.
    2. Form into 2 loaves then place in baking dishes that have been prepared with cooking oil spray
    3. Cook in moderate oven for 45 minutes or until meat is no longer pink
