Lazy Roast Soy Chicken

Roast chicken thighs with an Asian marinade. No fuss to make for those lazy not-feeling-like-cooking days.

Serves: 2 

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 5cm ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup (250ml) wine

Preparation:10hours  ›  Cook:1hour30min  ›  Extra time:1hour marinating  ›  Ready in:12hours30min 

  1. Mix all ingredients together to coat the thighs. Leave for 1 hour or overnight.
  2. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees C.
  3. Line an oven tray with baking paper then roast the marinated chicken thighs.
  4. Turn after 1 hour and roast for another half hour or until the skin crisps. Serve with rice or flour tortilla.
