These are an incredibly decedent chocolate muffin that are baked with a chocolate cheesecake filling for pure bliss.
I love the simplicity of this recipe that once it’s baked, you’re done, no frosting needed. The cupcakes have a lovely chocolate flavor and the creamy cream cheese filling is the perfect addition. I filled the muffin tins pretty much to the top apprehensive that they may overflow during baking but mercifully they did not. The result was a total of 15 cupcakes. I found the center of the cupcakes fall slightly during cooling so they loose a little of their appeal, but that is quickly restored with the first bite. They are wonderful. - 04 Mar 2014
