Creamy Herbed Chicken Fettuccini

This pasta is so quick and easy making it a family favourite. Chicken is deep fried before being added to a cream cheese and parmesan sauce.


Serves: 4 

  • 4 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons teaspoons
  • 1 teaspoons cracked pepper
  • 250g cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup (250ml) water
  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 500g fettuccini

Preparation:25min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. Combine chicken, paprika and pepper. Let stand 20 minutes then deep fry until brown.
  2. Combine cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, water and chicken stock cube.
  3. Once well combined add parsley and basil.
  4. Add to frying pan with chicken. Bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes or until the chicken is tender.
  5. Boil pasta. Blend pasta with the sauce and serve.

I halved the recipe. A very tasty dish which was loved by my partner and I. It was easy to make and we will be making it again. Just one minor thing - the second line of the ingredients 2 teaspoons teaspoons should read 2 teaspoons paprika. Thnaks for a new recipe to add to our book. - 03 Aug 2012
