An exquisite, mouth watering sausage recipe. Sausage meat balls in chicken noodle soup, onion and rice topped with tomato. Very cheap to make and still has a taste you just can't beat. Your kids will love it.

Serves: 4 

  • 500g sausage meat
  • plain flour
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 packet instant chicken noodle soup
  • water
  • 1-2 tomatoes, sliced

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. Divide the sausage meat into meat balls rolling them in the plain flour as you go.
  2. Brown the sausage balls in a little oil in a frypan. Put the sausage balls into an oven save casserole dish.
  3. Cook the chicken noodle soup using only half of the water it recommends on the packet.
  4. Combine the onion, cooked rice and chicken noodle soup in a bowl. Stir together. Pour onion, rice and soup mix over sausage balls and top with sliced tomato.
  5. Cook in oven at 180 degrees C until tomato slightly browns; about 30 minutes. Serve.
