An alternative to a classic dish that pleases every time. Brown sugar is rubbed into the pumpkin before baking to create a sweet twist to standard roast pumpkin.

Military Cook

Serves: 10 

  • 900g pumpkin, skinned and seeded, cut into serving pieces
  • 150ml oil
  • 100g brown sugar

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:40min  ›  Ready in:50min 

  1. Preheat an oven to 190 degrees C.
  2. Rub oil into pumpkin pieces then rub brown sugar into them.
  3. Place on an appropriately sized cooking tray.
  4. Place in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and serve.
