The ingredients may look bizzare, but try it! This loaf is absolutely delicious with tea or coffee and is a family favourite treat.
I altered this for family preferences. I changed the flour to 1 cup of spelt flour and 1/2 cup of brown rice flour, then used 1/2 cup honey in place of the sugar. I tf you cut it when cooled, it does not crumble as much as when it is hot. The taste and texture are wonderful! - 06 May 2013
