Easy Mango Lassi

    A low fat, healthier version of the mango lassi, which still retains flavour and texture of the full fat version. Mint and cloves added to the lassi gives an interesting fresh twist.

    Serves: 4 

    • 4 large ripe mangoes
    • 3 cups (750ml) natural low fat yoghurt
    • 8 mint leaves
    • 1 teaspoon cloves, crushed
    • 4 tablespoons honey
    • 1 1/2 cups (375ml) chilled water
    • crushed ice, to serve

    1. Peel and cut the mangoes.
    2. Place mangoes, yoghurt, mint, cloves and honey into a food processor. Process until smooth.
    3. Add chilled water until desired thickness is achieved.
    4. Pour into glasses filled with crushed ice. Serve.
