Choc Chip and Cinnamon Biscuits

These chocolate chip biscuits are easy to make and have the added twist of cinnamon for something a little different.


Serves: 8 

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup (125g) sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 cups (300g) flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Lightly grease 2 baking trays.
  2. With a wooden spoon beat together the butter and sugar.
  3. Gradually add the cinnamon, chocolate chips, milk and egg.
  4. Once combined add flour and baking powder.
  5. Roll out on floured surface until 5mm thick then cut out shapes with cutter, place on the trays.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.
