Salmon Nori Tempura

    A nice quick, easy and delicious salmon dish that is filled with Japanese flavours but also with a bit of a twist.

    Serves: 2 

    • 1 nori sheet
    • 200g salmon
    • 20g crab mousse
    • egg whites
    • tempura batter

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Lay 1/2 nori sheet on clean dry work bench.
    2. Place salmon on the nori. Using a knife insert it in to the middle of the salmon to make a small cavity for the crab mousse then pipe it in.
    3. Using egg white brush the edges of the nori and fold up on to the salmon.
    4. Place the next piece of nori onto the bench and place the salmon exposed side down onto the nori so that it will be all covered then using the egg whites encase the salmon in the nori.
    5. Dip in tempura batter and deep fry until the batter is crispy.
    6. Serve on a nice crisp rocket salad and drizzle with a soy base sauce.
