All in one bowl quiche that forms its own base while cooking. Passed on to me by my mother, this is adaptable to use any leftovers. You can pretty much add what you like to this recipe. The quiche can be cut up into squares of any size and served with salad, or cut into finger or bite size pieces for parties. Baking in a mini muffin tins is good for parties. Serve hot or cold
Made it more kid friendly. Used small pie tins to create individual servings for both my 1 year old and my partner. Great for my partner's lunches. Also, with these servings, I can freeze each pie for use later and can defrost only what is needed for the day. - 27 Nov 2008
Altered ingredient amounts. Did not have bacon on hand, so I fried up chopped onion, mushrooms and courgettes. Also, did not have any parsley in the house, so I sprinkled in some oregano. My family just loved the taste. - 27 Nov 2008
Great recipe. Added some cooked asparagus too. So easy to make with simple ingredients. - 27 Oct 2011
