- 600g tinned peeled Italian tomatoes
- 3 cloves garlic, finely sliced
- 5 basil leaves, diced
- 100ml olive oil
- salt, to taste
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- Parmesan, to taste

- Heat the olive oil on medium heat then fry the garlic until soft.
- Add the tomatoes and onion then cook for about 20 minutes. Stir in basil.
- Serve on pasta with Parmesan to garnish.
