Cafe Chicken Croissant

A delicious croissant filled with seasoned chicken breast, crispy bacon, avocado, light sour cream and full flavoured cheese. A great lunch or dinner served with a garden salad.

Ingredients

4 frozen or fresh croissants
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 double chicken breast fillet
4 bacon rashers
1 avocado
4 slices of cheddar cheese, or cheese of your choice
light sour cream to taste
vegetable salt or any seasoned or plain salt

Preparation method

1.
Bake croissants (if frozen) as per box directions. If the croissants are fresh, warm them for five minutes in a moderate oven.

Cut each the breast fillet in half lengthways and then again crossways. Season the four pieces of chicken with vegetable salt. Heat the olive oil and cook chicken and bacon on a medium-high heat until golden brown.
 
3.
Cut the croissants in half then fill with chicken, bacon, sliced avocado, cheese and a dash of light sour cream
